The training takes place at Ring Knutstorp, one of Sweden’s most established race tracks, providing ideal conditions for structured drifting without compromising safety or quality.
What is BMW M Drift Academy?
BMW M Drift Academy is about understanding and controlling a slide—not letting go. You will learn how a drift is initiated, how it is controlled, and how to exit it in a stable and controlled manner. The focus is on technique, feel, and the interaction between driver and car.

- Transitioning to a full circle with focus on balance and stability
- Testing different vehicle settings to understand their effect
All driving is conducted step by step and adapted to participant skill level.
Drift Analyzer – analyze your own driving
Participants have the opportunity to record their own drifting using BMW’s Drift Analyzer, providing visual and data-driven insight into driving technique and areas for improvement.
